One of the most important recommendations is to sincerely ask Allah to grant every Muslim the opportunity to reach this blessed month. A believer should supplicate to their Lord, asking Him to let them witness Ramadan and to aid them in fasting and praying during it with faith and sincerity. How many people are there who are just days or even moments away from Ramadan but do not get to experience it?
Thus, my advice to every believing man and woman is to turn to Allah with humility and sincerity, praying wholeheartedly that He allows them to reach this blessed month and grants them the strength to observe its fasts and prayers with faith and anticipation of His reward. Additionally, one should prioritize repentance—renewing their repentance before the arrival of Ramadan so that they enter the month with a clean slate, having had their sins erased through sincere repentance.
Moreover, it is essential to make a firm intention to remain steadfast during Ramadan, avoiding everything that Allah has forbidden. A true believer should resolve to exert themselves during Ramadan, safeguard their senses from sinful acts, and increase their good deeds both day and night. Another firm resolution should be made—not to return to sinful behaviors after Ramadan but to remain committed to righteousness beyond this sacred month. After all, one does not know when death will come.
Therefore, let every believ er commit themselves to goodness and righteous deeds, hoping for divine guidance and perseverance until their final moment. May Allah grant everyone success and guidance, allow all Muslims everywhere to reach this great month, and bless them with faith, sincerity, and the eagerness to do good.
May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
